Introduction
Snap-on Incorporated is an American designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high-end tools and equipment for professional use in the transportation industry, including the automotive, heavy-duty, equipment, marine, aviation, and railroad industries. Snap-on Inc. operates plants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Elizabethton, Tennessee, and Elkmont, Alabama.

In 2020, seventeen students from the Savannah College of Art and Design partnered with Snap-on during the university's SCADpro collaboration.
Representing six different nationalities and nine majors, the student team embraced diversity to research and develop cutting edge, innovative tool designs for Snap-on's Bahco professional cycling tools.

Project Brief
Snap-on tasked the SCADpro team to research and develop a new saddle bag, thru-axle, torque wrench, tool bag, t-handle, CO2 canister, tire lever, and multi-tool for the brand's professional cycling tools collection.
With innovation as the collective aim, the team researched and designed a new set of professional cycling tools inspired by human-centered design to provide users with the ultimate tool experience.
